I think Luis Ortiz is extremely talented, a massive threat in the heavyweight division, very dangerous, and closing in on big opportunities now. I think it's a horrible shame that Ortiz has a history of using performance enhancing drugs, because it ruins his image, it stains his name, and it's very bad for the sport, he doesn't seemed to have earned back that trust that people have in fighters who help the sport to be managed safely and fairly. I think Malik Scott has little to lose at this stage of his career, after no out standing wins, and defeats to Dereck Chisora and Deontay Wilder, he's a good fighter, got some good skills, and is awkward while he's strong and safe, but he isn't the most durable opponent out there, we saw that against Dereck Chisora, he's not a big puncher, his fight is at long range, and his plan against Ortiz must be to keep it long, and pick him off from range, but I don't think this will work, I think with the level of opposition of both these fighters, the way Ortiz has impressed on such a higher level than Scott in the past, the way he shown to be able to win in so many more different ways, and most of all, the immense power of Ortiz, and the relative vulnerability of Malik Scott. I'd be very surprised if Scott was able to pull this off.
I think Ortiz will stop Scott early, maybe round 2, I think Scott will aim to frustrate Ortiz by out boxing him on the outside, but I don't think he can, I think Ortiz is a great counter puncher, I think he'll use this after sizing Scott up, and score the knock out, I don't think it will be hard for Ortiz to hurt Scott once unleashed his power. If this fight goes the way I think it will, then I think Ortiz should get the world title shot, the world champions, Joshua, Wilder, and the possible soon to be world champions, Parker, Klitschko, Browne, any of these guys against Ortiz makes for a great fight, and I really hope we can see at least one of them in the next year, if I could choose, I'd say Wilder vs Ortiz.
