Re: Lawrence Okolie vs Krzysztof Glowacki
Prediction.
Both are dirty fighters, especially Okolie, Glowacki is better at getting away with fouls, but Okolie's height will make it easier for him to fight dirty. The only way I see this being an entertaining fight is if both are hurt, given their styles. I think styles favour Okolie, his best shot is his right hand, Glowacki is easier to hit with the right than the left, his best defence for the right hand is to lean back, and Okolie's reach negates that. Glowacki has a better jab, but Okolie has more agility as well as a big reach advantage, so it will be hard for Glowacki to out jab him. I think Glowacki will be the counter puncher in this fight, not necessarily because he times shots better, but because when he misses, he doesn't lose positioning, but Okolie loses his balance, tries to clinch when he misses, and he's easier to counter. I think Glowacki's judgement of distance is better than Okolie, so Okolie's reach will be less of a factor as the fight goes on. I think the mid rounds are likely to be the best for Glowacki, Okolie is ths better athlete, but Glowacki is technically better.
I think Glowacki will struggle to cut the distance in the early rounds, but Okolie will be reliant on being on his toes, will struggle to get his shots off, and when he throws, he'll over reach, will hold and lean on Glowacki to stop him throwing. I think Glowacki's timing will improve after 3 rounds, and Okolie won't be as nimble as he tries to get more shots off, Glowacki will counter Okolie, will have more momentum in the mid rounds, I think the tempo will be low, it will be negative, but Glowacki will cut off the ring, and he'll use his experience and technique to land clean single shots. I think Okolie will land the right hand when Glowacki steps back, hurt Glowacki, I think he'll struggle for accuracy when he tries to build on it, but he'll manhandle Glowacki when he tries to hold, land enough hard shots to stop Glowacki.
I think Okolie stops Glowacki late, I'd be surprised if Glowacki won this, given the timing of the fight, I wouldn't be surprised if he's shot, and Okolie stops him early, but I think he'll give Okolie problems, I could see him being ahead after 8 rounds.

Re: Lawrence Okolie vs Krzysztof Glowacki
The Briedis fight finished Glowacki, and he took a fair amount of damage before that fight, I don't think his inactivity was the problem, he'd got old overnight. Okolie showed vast improvement in this fight, his fundamentals were better, he was more technical in terms of footwork, and he used his reach a lot better than before this fight. Okolie had 22 amateur bouts, that isn't common knowledge, and considering that, it's less surprising he'd been so disappointing in other fights. Okolie's right hand was high, he was still slow to bring his hand back after throwing the jab, but he was busy with the jab and fast when he threw it, had a good balance in terms of movement, he didn't give Glowacki ground or move too much, he was aware of Glowacki's front foot being outside his, but wasn't fazed or frustrated by it, was prepared for Glowacki to throw the left hand, but Glowacki couldn't cut the distance, couldn't cut off the ring, he moved his head and got low, but Okolie adapted his jab to Glowacki's height. I didn't think Okolie's accuracy was great in this fight, but better than in the past, his judgement of distance was better, he didn't over reach with the right hand as often as before this fight. The set up and finish was great from Okolie, he drew a reaction from Glowacki with the jab, Glowacki was moving his head, was prepared for Okolie to throw the right hand, he ducked down, thinking it would go over his head, but as he dipped the knees, he fell double impact onto the shot, Okolie got the perfect angle on the shot, and he timed it perfectly.
