Prediction,

Glowacki is good, knocked out Huck, beat Cunningham, only lost to Usyk, no shame there whatsoever, he can punch can Glowacki, he is very experienced, 31 fights, but he is probably past his best now, 32, definitely not old for a cruiserweight, but since the Usyk loss, he hasn't fought at opponent of the calibre of Cunningham or Huck, not that that means much because he already has that experience and is active, but he did have to get up off the deck against Serhiy Radchenko, earlier this year, Radchenko, undefeated, but not young, not experienced, had been fighting poor opponents, and has just lost again, so that isn't a great result for Glowacki, and it suggests he might not be the fighter he was when he beat Huck and Cunningham.

I've never seen Vlasov fight, but he has a record of 42-2, good record, 32 not an old fighter, and he hasn't lost in over 3 years. Vlasov has only lost to Isaac Chilemba and Gilberto Ramirez, didn't lose that wide to Ramirez, and dropped Chilemba twice. Vlasov has had 44 fights, nearly 250 rounds, he is a veteran, he can punch a bit, 57% KOs, he is active, and in recent years, his opposition hasn't been bad, but it has been limited enough that he was able to fight 4 times last year, 5 times in 2016, and although he's mixed it against Ramirez (who must have been in his early twenties and not in his prime when Vlasov fought him) and Chilemba, he doesn't have any world level wins, but still, he is a veteran, has a good record, and is on form, so he should be confident he can beat Glowacki, who seems to have seen better days.

Neither of these guys have granite chins, Glowacki was knocked out by Price in the amateurs (not that that means he doesn't have a solid chin, given Price's size and sometimes forgotten natural power), was dropped by Huck before he came back to stop him, and he was dropped against Radchenko of course. Vlasov was dropped once early his career, got up off the deck to beat Ismayl Sillah (23-2, 61% KOs) in 2016, and last year, against Rakhim Chakhkiev (26-2, 66% KOs), in a fight he scored a few knockdowns in, won every round and got the stoppage, he did go down once himself. Both fighters have conceded 2 or 3 confirmed knockdowns in their careers, what is interesting is, not only have neither been stoppedin their 3 losses, but neither have been down in their losses, they have only been dropped on the way to winning, which is a testament to how well they can come back from the adversity of being knocked down. Interestingly, Vlasov has been down twice in rounds he has also scored a knockdown in, that suggests either he is dangerous when he is hurt, or he is vulnerable when he is dangerous, depending on whether he got dropped first in the round on one or both occasions or not, which I do not know.

Glowacki is the puncher in this fight, he has the better resume, his loss came against a great fighter, so he must be the favourite, but it depends on exactly how much desire Vlasov has, and what Glowacki has left. I think given that he has been fairly active, is 32, only has the one loss, and it wasn't a brutal stoppage loss, Glowacki will still have just about enough left to beat Vlasov, but it will be a very tough fight, Vlasov has a good chance, I would not be surprised if he won this, but I think Glowacki will win.

I think this will be a great fight, both fighters will be hurt, don't think they'll trade knockdowns, but there will be swings in momentum. I think Glowacki's sheer power and level off offensive ability, ability to do real damage, will be the difference and he will hurt, drop, stop Vlasov late, maybe in 10 rounds, he might well be behind on the cards, will have to take his fair share of punishment to turn the tables on Vlasov, but he will get him out of there.
