Prediction,

I think Lopez will win this fight.

Both are entertaining fighters, are tough, experienced, both old, and have a lot of miles, but both, unless one of them has got old overnight, are not shot, and this should be a great fight. Lopez had Thurman hurt bad, and made the fight competitive, Molina made it very competitive against Figueroa, judges had it one sided, but it seemed like a close fight, so both fighters gave a great account of themself in their last fights.

Looking at their records, this looks like a 50/50 fight, similar age and damage, both have one really good win, both been in against at least one pound for pound fighter, but I think Robert Garcia has brought the best out of Lopez, they are a great team, it is impressive what Lopez has achieved, at 33-35, and this is the first time he has fought twice in a year since 2014.

Both fighters can fight on the inside, both are tough, have high output, a fighting mentality, but I think Lopez is more skilful overall, better defensively, better fundamental boxer.

I think this will be very competitive, I think both will be hurt at least once, but I think Lopez will get the stoppage, Lopez doesn't have the power of a Matthysse, and he isn't on the level of Crawford, those are 2 of the only 3 who have stopped Molina, but Lopez is dangerous, hurt Thurman and Maidana, and Molina doesn't have a great chin, I think this will be an all out war, a close fight for the most part, but Lopez stops Molina late.

Good fight, but it was stopped too late. Molina is shot, he must retire, his resistance and reflexes are gone, he took far too much punishment, the doctor wanted it stopped after 7 rounds, the corner should have stopped it. Great performance from Lopez, his defence lacked at times, but his jab was great, set up the right hand, he was patient, he got caught clean a few times, but he took the shots well. Trout is moving down to 147, I wonder if we'll see Lopez vs Trout.
