Prediction,

Very impressed by Gill, seems like a very talented fighter, 22-0, so he is fairly experienced as a professional, isn't a puncher, 27% KOs, but he has stopped his last two, got rid of David Berna in 1 round, and in his last fight, broke down, stopped Ryan Doyle with volume, attacked head and body, dominated Doyle for 6 rounds, and stopped him in 7. Gill has only fought at Commonwealth level and lower, so he very much untested when it comes to world level, but he is 24, so he has time. I think this is a big step up for Gill, Dominguez is durable, only been stopped once in 33 fights, and that was against the current WBO super bantamweight champion, hard hitting Emanuel Navarrete, it would be a statement if Gill could stop Dominguez, but I think it is very unlikely. This is not too much, too soon for Gill, because he is dominant at the level he has been fighting at, and Dominguez does have 7 losses, he has fought at FECOMBOX and North American level, but no higher than that.

I think Gill is a class above Dominguez, and this will be very one sided fight, a unanimous 120-108, if Gill is as good as some people think he is, he should win this with ease.

I think 126 might be the best division at the moment, and if it isn't, it is up there with 118, 140, 147, 175. Santa Cruz, Russell, Warrington, Valdez, all definitely good champions. In terms of contenders, 126 is great, Galahad, Nyambayar Gill, Conlan, Stevenson, all undefeated, impressing.

What a statement from Gill, he doesn't have much power, but he uses the power he does have very well, he hits harder than his KO ratio suggests, and when he has his opponent shot, he picks his punches very well, has good variety, lands every shot clean, doesn't get careless, but doesn't let his opponent off the hook.
