Prediction,

This is such a tough one to call!
I think this will be a fan friendly fight, Cox is a heck of a pressure fighter, can fight with his face a bit, and Ryder has a great engine, very workmanlike work ethic.

Weight wise, you could definitely say it benefits Ryder, because he has fought at middleweight and super middle for his whole career, whereas Cox, he's been at welterweight, on the other hand, Cox may just have cut a lot of weight early in his career, 5'11, always very tall for 147, tall for 154 even, and Ryder, not at all tall for 168, he's 5'9, so natural size wise, you might argue that weight isn't against Cox so much.

Cox is older, gets hit a lot, but Ryder has been in more tough fights, Cox has more flaws, but I also think he has more tools. Really tough, tough call.

I might just lean towards Cox, but there is nothing in it I don't think.

Was not expecting that!
Very frustrating for Cox, he might have misjudged the count, gotten up at the count of 11, but he was hurt there for sure. I think Cox can come back, do well, win a British title, and maybe more, but I don't think he will ever win a world title.

Brilliant win for John Ryder!
That was a really good finish, didn't look like a hard shot when it landed, but you see the damage when Cox went down, it was a solid right hook to the side of the head, quite high up, Cox didn't see it coming, he was caught cold, very dazed. That is the second really good knockout win in a row for John Ryder, I think he should be in a world title eliminator next.
