Me neither. Always hearing about how this guy was robbed against all the best heavys of the 70s. I haven't seen it in the fights I've watched. In the Ali fight he was leaning so far outside of the ropes he could have hailed a taxi. Being awkward, holding every chance he gets and avoiding, sometimes flat out running doesn't impress me. If making a fight look ugly was a win, Jimmy would have been undefeated.

Norton fights a tactically brilliant fight, Young came back well and actually fought hard stunning Norton on a few occasions in the late going. The final round both men sold out and gave it everything they had with I feel Norton just edging it and the win with it. If Norton doesn't give it his all in that last round I would have had it a draw. A really good and entertaining fight, for a Jimmy Young fight that is somewhat rare.

This is a really good fight! I just love the chess game tactics and adjustments made throughout by both fighters. Young was a clever, awkward counter puncher and Norton a forward pushing powerhouse with a great jab, that I always felt he dosen’t use enough! Norton’s strategy was brilliant: targeting the body mainly, feinting and moving which threw Young off a bit. A really close fight and I only had Norton by one point, but he really deserved it. Underrated classic!!
