Prediction,

This is a decent match up, it seems like one fight has set it up, out of nowhere, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Robinson Castellano is the underdog, but he was against Gamboa, and he won that fight, he's lost 12 fights, you could say he's a bit of a mini Rocky Balboa. Nobody expected Castellano to beat Gamboa, and he managed that, so I'm sure he'll be confident he can do that in this fight, and become a world champion.

Jezreel Corrales, in my opinion, is the weak link in the division, out of the champions that is, he is an unbeaten world champion in his own right, and of course, a very good world class fighter, but I just believe, in this order, Lomachenko, Davis, Berchelt, are all better. Corrales, I believe he should be in a unification bout soon, but for the near future, this is a good fight for him, a tough, experienced fighter with nothing to lose, still skilled enough to have more wins that losses, can punch, great way to stay active in the ring.

I think Corrales will win this fight with ease, I think Castellano will try, give it his all, but I don't think it will be competitive. I think Castellano wil, try very hard to make it a good fight, but in my opinion, he simply isn't good enough, and Corrales will dominate the fight, winning every round before dropping, stopping Castellano in round 9 (with scorecards of (80-72, 80-72, 80-72), I think Castellano will get up, try to get into the fight, but I think referee will stop him from taking too much punishment, and quite rightly stop the beating.

For Corrales, I think this is just a good way to keep busy, I don't think he'll learn much from the fight, but hopefully, he can get a big fight soon, maybe Tevin Farmer, maybe Javier Fortuna, maybe a unification bout, there are a fair amount of options for him, he does have a lot to prove, but he's a good fighter, so it will be interesting to see just how just Corrales is, hopefully he competes in a tough, telling fight before long.

Castellano has nothing to lose really, he will be very motivated to build on the Gamboa victory, he has a lot to gain, but nothing to lose, I think that can make an opponent more dangerous. If Castellano wins, which I think is very, very unlikely, that would two massive upsets in a row, he'd be a world champion, and it could set up great opportunities for him for the future, big fights, the kind of fights in which he would be more of an underdog than ever, he probably likes being the underdog, and that is good, no matter what happens, this is a world title fight, this bout should make Castellano a lot of money, he beat Gamboa, that can never be taken away from him, it was a great victory which earned him a world title opportunity, I think that's great, as long as he gives this his best effort, no shame at all, no matter how one sided the fight is.

Hope it's competitive.

Great great fight! I had it a draw with the partial round of the 10th being 10-10. A close win wither way is understandable, the old Pat Russell with his 96-92 card for Castellano won 4 rounds and had a 10-7 round is ridiculous, and is a example of what keeps giving boxing a bad name. Terrible judges cards have to go, and Pat Russell needs to retire already.

Great fight to watch! Dramatic fight! I underestimated Robinson Castellanos, you don't see very many fighters with 12 losses on their record who are better than him, he grabbed this opportunity with both hands, gave the fans what they deserve, gave the champion a very hard time in there, mentally, was completely unfazed by being the challenger, he did very well, especially with that fantastic fourth round, but in the end, he wasn't good enough to beat the champion, Corrales too skilful, too quick, and he deserved to win, he came back very well from that torrid fourth round. I think the performance from Corrales was fan friendly, brave, spirited, no lack of effort, he looked great at times, but in terms what he could do and couldn't do against the other fighter, and the problems he had with the opponent, based on this performance, my opinion that he isn't nearly as good as the other 3 world champions in the division, hasn't changed. I think Takashi Miura, Francisco Vargas, Orlando Salido have the beating of him, no disrespect to Corrales, he's a very good fighter, and a world champion in his own right, I just think Berchelt, Davis, Lomachenko are a class above.
