Prediction,

Ancajas is good, but his last two performances haven't been impressive, especially not in his last fight, he was terrible, I thought he got an absolute gift of a decision against Santiago. Ancajas is only 27, strange that he went from dominating Jamie Conlan, Israel Gonzalez, to looking mediocre against Sultan, terrible against Santiago.

Funai is a very good Japanese level fighter, but he is probably poor at world level, he can punch, won his last 2 fights by stoppage, but he was behind in both fights, has 7 losses, doesn't do him justice, he has won 15 of his last 17, but he hasn't beaten anyone at world level, or close to it.

This is a great opportunity for Funai, he is experienced, he is a puncher, a puncher always has a shot, but this is a big ask, especially if Ancajas is a lot better in this fight than he was against Santiago, which he should be, but if Ancajas repeats his stinker against Santiago, he should think about stopping boxing.

I think Ancajas wins this fight, and by stoppage, probably in the late rounds, but I think he'll get the stoppage. I think this fight depends on Ancajas a lot more than Funai, I think Funai is likely to be tough, try his best, have some power, but not a lot else, but Ancajas might have a dominant win, like against Conlan, or another bad performance, like against Santiago.

I think Ancajas stops Funai in 11.
