Re: Jermell Charlo vs Brian Castano II
Prediction.
The first fight was a draw, Charlo hurt Castano, Castano then recovered and hurt Charlo, walked him down for most of the fight, was far more accurate in the pocket in the middle half of the fight, seemed well ahead, but Charlo hurt him again and finished strong, I thought Castano still did more than enough. It will be interesting to see who adapts better technically and tactically, whether Charlo is as easy a target for the right hand as he's backing up, will be important, so will the question of whether he can get his shots off first at long range more often, but I highly doubt he'll punch through Castano's solid guard more easily, and he can't stop Castano walking him down. Whether Castano can be more prepared for Charlo's counter right hand, will be very important, Charlo had little to no success in the first fight without hurting Castano with 1 great shot, Castano's defence was solid last time, but Charlo exploited a small opening, it will be interesting to see if he can make an adjustment if Castano isn't in a position for the right hand.
I think this fight will be fairly similar to last time, Castano will cut Charlo off, apply consistent pressure, and let his hands go when Charlo is static on the ropes, Charlo will struggle for accuracy, Charlo will be busier off the ropes, will collapse the pocket at times and throw in variety at close range, but will open himself up more and take more shots in the majorityof the exchanges. I don't think Charlo will be able to stop Castano cutting distance, Castano will keep setting the tempo, and Castano will be as accurate as last time, but offensively, Charlo will build on his performance from last time, it will be a more positive fight than the first time, and there won't be as many swings in momentum.
My prediction is Castano by a close decision, no outcome would surprise me, I think Castano was closer to maximising his potential last time, so there's potentially more room for improvement for Charlo, which is why I wouldn't be surir if he won, but I think Castano is the more versatile fighter, with fewer weaknesses, and I favour him to edge the fight.

Charlo is now undisputed. Maybe Tim Tszyu's next? Who would you like to see him fight?

Good question. I'd love to see Charlo fight Tszyu or Fundora, especially Fundora, I wouldn't mind seeing a third fight against Harrison, given it's 1-1 and the rematch was highly competitive. I wouldn't be surprised if Lara got an opportunity against Charlo, he's not the high risk, low reward opponent he was in his career, it's not a fight I want to see, but it would make sense for Charlo. Who would you most like to see Charlo fight next?

Mainly Tszyu, a third match with Harrison would be entertaining, I could see Lara but that wouldn't be a top pick for me. I know it's unlikely to happen (soon anyway), but I wonder how Charlo would fare against Canelo.

Re: Jermell Charlo vs Brian Castano II
Great performance from Charlo, this was the win of his career, I think if anything, Castano was better than in the first fight, and Charlo was able to beat him decisively this time. Castano cut off the ring consistently and pressured Charlo like in the first fight, but in this fight, Charlo delayed Castano by getting off at long range, he was uncomfortable under Castano's pressure, struggled to work consistently, but he was more prepared to move than in the first fight, picked up his foot speed to stay out of the corner. Castano beat Charlo to the punch, but Charlo often had the last word, was timing Castano at the end of exchanges. Castano should have targeted the body more, body shots were more important for Castano as he needed to stop Charlo's movement, but it wasn't easy to attack the body against Charlo, especially with the risk of the counter uppercut, and Charlo did better work to the body against the shorter fighter. This fight was a testament to Charlo's offensive versatility, Castano was more prepared for the right hand than in the first fight, but Charlo did more damage with the left hook, it was a great shot, Castano was finished.
