Prediction,

Hardy has done very well, boxed well in her last fight, but she is 37, she's very old, Serrano is 30, and she has had a lot more fights, she hits a lot harder as well, with 71% KOs, Hardy has 17% KOs, which is very low. Hardy is unbeaten, and Serrano has one loss, but that was in 2012, she is on a 22 fight winning run.

Serrano is a 7 weight world champion, which is incredible, even in women's boxing. Serrano won a title at 140 last year, and earlier this year, she dropped down to 115 and won a title at that weight as well, she must have been very big for the weight, did well to make the weight and still win with a first round KO. This is at 126, Serrano is probably a natural super bantamweight, but she has fought at 135 and even 140, and still won without trouble, so the size of Hardy won't be a problem for Serrano.

I think this will be the best win of Serrano's career so far, if she wins as I think she will, Hardy is 22-0, she's good, world champion in her own right, but I think Serrano is a level above, has more skills and power, and she will dominate Hardy. I think Hardy will try her best, will make it at least fairly entertaining, but she won't win many if any rounds, and Serrano will stop her in the late rounds.

Great fight!

I wrote Hardy off, she made that very competitive, might not have done as well as I thought as I watched it, it wasn't close, it is easy to get carried away when a fighter does a lot better than you expect, but she did much better than I expected, I would have stopped it in the first round, I was very surprised she even got to the mid rounds, but she came back very well, won rounds, I didn't think it was as wide as the judges scored it. Serrano looked good overall, but I think she punched herself out in the first 2 rounds, and although she had enough in the tank to get the better of the last 8 rounds, Hardy didn't let her rest, kept throwing, kept making her have to adjust her feet, and after Serrano took a risk in rounds 1 and 2, expended a lot of gas in the tank, Hardy was able to give her a tough fight.
