Re: Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao I
Incredible battle!
What a start from Manny Pacquiao, devastating power from him, he didn't let Marquez off the hook either. Marquez did fantastically well to get through that torrid first round, stay calm, and box so well for the rest of the fight, technically, he did a lot better than Pacquiao did down the stretch, I think he finsihed the fight, having won more rounds, but in my opinion, he didn't quite manage to catch up, I just thought the tremendous start from Pacquiao, the 3 knockdowns, it just brought him to being too far ahead, and because Marquez was never able to deck Pacquiao, it wasn't enough from the Mexican warrior. I think a draw was certainly a very fair result for this fight.

Regardless of what we all think about what the scoring should be, Pacquiao really should have gotten the W on his record considering Clements made an actual error on the scoring card. A shame stuff like that can happen.

Oh yeah good point, but I guess, given that had he won this won, that would have been 3 razor tight decisions which could have gone either way, I don't think Pacquiao got a raw deal. My understanding is that had the error not been crucial to the outcome, it would have been altered.

JMM might not have gotten a rematch if they didn't draw, so it's probably better this way anyways

Great fight in which Pac-Man should have gotten the nod.

Oh my god! I just heard that along with Top Rank/ESPN new deal they are gonna offer a streaming service similar to Netflix that will not only offer live fights but all of Top Rank & ESPN Classic fight library's to watch as you please! There will be a monthly fee for this, but talk about a diehard fight fans dream come true! I literally can't wait!

I heard that to about top rank doing fights with ESPN. I didn't know about the fee, is that true at all? But a Netflix style streaming for boxing is awesome.

There will be a fee for the streaming service. TOP RANK on ESPN like the Pac/Horn fight, Crawford/Indongo & Lomachenko/Salido 2 (which apparently are both close to be finalized) wont cost anything more.

Ok I think I got it. So if I wanted to get the streaming service it would cost a fee, but if I only wanted to watch the fights live on ESPN I won't have to pay? Also I can't wait to see Loma avenge his loss to saildo. I think Crawford vs indongo will be a one sided stoppage I still feel it's a good fight because he'll be the first person since jermain Taylor to have all the belts in a weight class.

Winner: Manny Pacquiao 114-111
Six rounds each with Pacquiao scoring three knockdowns. There were a couple close rounds. I could see scores ranging from 115-111 Pacquiao to 114-113 Pacquiao. I would really have to stretch to get a draw, let alone a win for Marquez. Pacquiao clearly won.
