Prediction,

I think Ramirez did the right thing moving up, he must have struggled to make 168, I don't think moving up will help his power, but he is probably a natural light heavyweight, so it probably won't hurt his power either. Ramirez will be more tested physically at 175, because he will be fighting bigger opponents, but he will also be stronger himself. Against Hart, Ramirez just edged the fight, it was close, he was fighting with one arm at the end, and I thought he looked slightly drained in the second half of the fight, looked weak, if he was weight drained in that fight, moving up is the answer, but it was a bad injury he sustained, and you have to question if that injury has fully healed.

Karpency is not bad, beat Chad Dawson, dropped Oleksandr Gvozdyk, but he is not a good world level fighter, lost a shut out to Nathan Cleverly, lost wide to Karo Murat, he was stopped by Gvozdyk, Stevenson and Fonfara, but to be fair to him, he was ahead against Fonfara. Karpency has not been that active in the last few years, he's probably past his best.

I think Ramirez should stop Karpency, I think he's better than Fonfara, almost as good as Stevenson, Gvozdyk, this shouldn't be too easy for Ramirez, but I expect him to win every round, get a stoppage inside 8 rounds.

Ramirez looks a lot stronger at 175, seems to have carried his power to 175, no reason he wouldn't, he seemed drained against Hart. Gvozdyk vs Ramirez would be a great match up, with them both being Top Rank fighters, that seems likely to Ramirez's best shot at getting a world title fight.
