Prediction,

Breazeale is on a winning streak, he is not top 15, but he might be top 20, he hasn't lost since the Joshua fight, and he did well to stop Eric Molina in his last fight. Breazeale, against Mansour, and Ugonoh, seemed to be in against the better fighter, seemed to be losing, gets dropped, the fight is going against him, but he is one of these fighters who gets the win, obviously, that only means so much when the fighter simply isn't world level, and although he can find a way to turn the tables Mansour, Ugonoh, when he stepped up and fought Joshua, it was a different story, he lost every round, and got stopped, didn't make it a competitive fight, did well to tough out the 6 rounds, but that was about it. Breazeale is highly ranked with the WBC I believe, and could even be Wilder's next mandatory. Breazeale hasn't fought since the Molina win, on the undercard of Wilder vs Stiverne II, just over a year ago, not ideal, so he might be rusty in this fight, but if he wants the shot at Wilder, he has to keep fighting.

Negron is unknown, has a good record, 20-1, can punch a bit, 76% KOs, he's young, and his loss was 7 years ago, but he hasn't fought at world level or been competitive amongst the top 30, probably not the top 40 at heavyweight, he has won FECARBOX and Continental Americas titles, but most of his last 10 fights have been non-title fights. Negron stopped Derric Rossy in 4 rounds in his last fight, 18 months ago, so inactivity is an issue for him. Despite being a bit of a puncher himself, it seems that Negron doesn't take a shot that well, he was dropped early in his career, and when he lost, he was stopped against an opponent with a losing record. Negron wasn't a bad amateur, was a 2008 Olympian, got to the 2nd leg, fought in tournaments in 2005 and 2006 as well.

Negron is slightly shorter than Breazeale, has a slightly shorter reach, but interestingly, is not a big heavyweight, fought at cruiserweight in the fight before his last, has made 200 twice in the last 5 years, and early in his career, he fought at about 180, he has also fought at 235-240 in recent fights, which says his conditioning is not great, against Rossy, he weighed in at a career heaviest, 238, 15-20lbs lighter than Breazeale normally is, but that's over 40 lbs from one fight to the next, and also, before he weighed in 195, 6 months earlier, he weighed 236, so he is very inconsistent. Breazeale has the size and strength advantage in this fight, but not as much as you would expect against a fighter who can compete at cruiserweight.

Both guys can punch, both guys have been dropped and stopped, should be a good fight, but I think it is levels, and Breazeale is a level above Negron, has been competing a level above for years, should be a competitive fight, but I think Breazeale stops Negron, maybe in 6 rounds, but he will get hurt himself, I wouldn't even be surprised if Breazeale got up off the deck to win this.
