Re: David Benavidez vs David Lemieux
Great performance from Benavidez, he respected Lemieux's power, was ready for Lemieux's aggression, blocked very well, didn't make the mistake of punching with Lemieux, he didn't take punishment even when he was static on the ropes, and when Lemieux stopped throwing, Benavidez went back on the front foot, he didn't give Lemieux ahy respite. The timing on the left hook from Benavidez in round 1 was perfect, his punch selection was brilliant, and he did some good work off the back foot.

Re: David Benavidez vs David Lemieux
rumors on the street of Benavidez and David Morrell camps being in talks of course Morrell may have to fight #1 with the WBA Aidos Yessbirnuly (may have butchered his name my bad) if the WBA deems so not sure they will tho

Re: David Benavidez vs David Lemieux
Do you rate Morrell? Would be more interesting to see Jermall versus Benavidez of course...have you seen anything credible about Jermell moving to 160 sometime soon? If so that could make sense, Jermall moves to 168 and Jermell to 160 and fights for the WBC.

Re: David Benavidez vs David Lemieux
not sure but I'll let you know if I do hear some Mall been talking about moving up to 168 but I doubt that as I got vibes of him trying to say all the right things in the media and like w acting tough w Benavidez camp at a figt..I suspect them reactions could be due to how negatively boxing fans received his response to drama queen Mike Tyson's "say them names" segment (where I felt Charlo did very well contrary to public opinion..kept his opinions grounded in reality) Charlo post that was talking of chasing Alvarez after the Sulecki fight when everyone knew Alvarez was gon finish 2022 on DAZN be it 1 or 2 more fights
as for Mell idk heard WBO ordered him vs Tszyu officially..if true that old news been hearing that possibility last 2-3 months haven't heard anything new
Morrell been high on him back in 2019 during the crazy Berlanga hype I been said I felt Morrell was the better prospect but I do feel he's a touch green and will be skipping levels in the pro game to fight Benavidez, obviously Mall is the more experienced fighter in 2022 but does he got the dimensions to trouble Benavidez like Morrell could down the line..Morrell need more fringe and top contenders in his dossier before challenging Champs and former Champs imo what do you think

Re: David Benavidez vs David Lemieux
I saw that with Benavidez in the crowd, hopefully hyping it for later down the road I guess. I like the quality Mike Tyson hate lol. Jermall took multiple L's first with Canelo not going to PBC and then with Golden Boy not getting the Munguia fight done. I think Tszyu is stylistically good for Jermell so I wouldn't be surprised if he took it as a mandatory, but maybe not if the negotiations go south.
Yeah, he's definitely skipping levels. I'd like to see him face a Dirrell level guy first. The Berlanga hype went too far but have you seen the numbers he's done? Very impressive for a prospect. I haven't seen enough of Morrell to really say how well he would do versus Benavidez, probably not well, but we'll see if David Benavidez can keep it together going forward.
