Where are you finding these old fights at? I could only find Robinson vs Basilio 1.

I bought the DVD online.

What's it called? I'll try to look for it.

Another tragedy the 1958 Ring Magazine fight of the year only available in clips, from what I saw of the contest, Ray was much more in command of the rematch and matched Basilio's aggression early which was key in recapturing his Middleweight Championship of the World for the 5th and final time. Robinson had the champions eye swelled up like a balloon by the 6th frame, and completely closed by the 9th. Which amazingly enough was when Basilio started doing his best, and winning rounds. What a gutsy all heart fighter Carmen Basilio was, for a man who went on record to say Ray Robinson hit the hardest of anyone he ever fought, to stand in front of that punishment with one eye, and not only take it without flinching, but winning sessions in that condition is truly special. The 38 year old 5 time Middle Champion Sugar Ray Robinson would go on to lose the title in his next first defense in 1960 to contender Paul Pender by split decision and the rematch by the same result. He would go on to fight Gene Fullmer two more times for the NBA version of the championship, the 3rd contest being seen as a draw and the 4th a unanimous decision loss and would never fight for the championship again, despite fighting on 5 more years into late 1965.
