Prediction,

Good match up.

These are not young fighters, both 35, neither have taken a phenomenal amount of damage, but neither are fresh, both have been stopped in one round, Truax has been stopped twice, but Quillin was not only down against Lee, he went 12 rounds, almost definitely weight drained, which is very toll taking on a fighter.

Truax fought twice in 2017, twice in 2018, Quillin fought once in 2017, once in 2018, so Truax has been more active.

Both these guys are former world champions, Quillin was a world champion for longer, but I don't think Quillin has win as good as Truax's victory over DeGale, he lost the DeGale rematch, Truax, but he still beat him the first time.

Quillin did well against J'Leon Love, I thought he would lose that fight, but he proved me wrong, Love was poor, which was a big factor, but Quillin is definitely not a shot fighter. Although Truax has been more active in recent years, Quillin went 10 rounds 8 months before this fight, Truax fought at roughly the same time, got a 3rd round stoppage against a 15-10 opponent, 4-5 months after the DeGale rematch, still, I think activity favours Truax because he has been 12 rounds twice in 18 months.

As an amateur, Truax was 21-8, was possibly on his way to the Olympics, but had to turn professional. Quillin only had 15 amateur bouts. Neither were great amateurs.

Both fighters have had 36 fights, both are very experienced, Truax has done 40-50 more rounds, and that also suggests Quillin might be the puncher, and he has 64% KOs, Truax, 53%.

This is a 50/50 fight, I'll say a draw, it's such a tough one to call, I could see either fighter edging it, but I'm going with a draw.
