Prediction,

These fighters are well matched, both fighters fought Rey Vargas, for the WBC title last year or this year, both had success, Hovhannisyan won a few rounds, Manzanillan won a couple, and dropped Vargas. They have similar records, Hovhannisyan is 17-3, Manzanilla is 18-5, both are fairly experienced, both punchers, Hovhannisyan, with 14 KOs, Manzanilla, with 17. Both fighters have been down, Hovhannisyan, at least once, Manzanilla, at least 3 times.

I think Hovhannisyan has a better chin, he has not been stopped, Manzanilla has, but I think Manzanilla hits harder. Hovhannisyan's best win is probably Ronny Rios, Manzanilla's best win has to be Julio Ceja, both got stoppages in those fights, so both fighters have proven they are not bad even at world level. Hovhannisyan has been the more active fighter, Manzanilla hasn't fought in 8 months, might not be any ring rust, but Hovhannisyan fought in June, will have had 3 fights in 2017, 18, 19. Neither have beaten great opposition overall, but I think Hovhannisyan's opposition has been better, hasn't fought an opponent with a losing record since 2016, his last 5 opponents have not had bad records, Manzanilla fought an opponent with a record of 1-46 last year, an opponent with an even record in 2017, Hovhannisyan has beaten 10 opponents with winning records, Manzanilla has beaten only 6.

I think Hovhannisyan wins this by UD, I think this will be a competitive fight, an entertaining fight, both might hit the deck, but I think Hovhannisyan wins.

Can you also add Ravshanbek Umurzakov vs Roldan Aldea ? They fought this weekend. Aldea recently scored a big upset KO over undefeated Alexeev.

I must be one of the only people to think that Hovhannisyan actually beat Rey Vargas 115-113?

I thought the scores were way too wide but w/e. I liked Hovhannisyans work more in the fight. He consistently landed hard shots
