Prediction,

Beterbiev's career hasn't taken off, promotion wise, it hasn't gone great for him, he is 33, and he has only had 12 fights, but he is 12-0, Beterbiev, stopped all his opponents, he is fresh, he has been into round 12, he is a world champion now, he stopped Cloud earlier than Stevenson, Prieto went the distance with Eleider Alvarez, Beterbiev stopped him in 1 round. Beterbiev has not been that active, he has been professional for 5 years, you would expect him to have had least 15 fights by now, and he had 11 months between beating Prito and Koelling, also another 11 months between beating Koelling and this fight, but still, not too inactive, with the 11-12 rounds against Koelling late last year. Beterbiev was a great amateur, beat Kovalev, Dorticos, Mchuhu, Hunter, he lost to Usyk, but there is no shame in that. As a professional, Beterbiev is unproven, I think Beterbiev is top 2 in the division, he may well be the best at 175, but he hasn't really been tested at world level.

Johnson is good, unbeaten, he impressed everyone with that explosive first round stoppage win over Frank Buglioni, Buglioni is a great British level fighter, he isn't world level, but it was still a big statement from Johnson, Johnson is a puncher, he has proven to be a good fighter so far, he is untested at world level, he doesn't have any world level experience, but he might have world level potential, he has not been occupied so far in hus career, he stopped a guy who Chudinov couldn't stop, in one round, stopped a guy Abraham (33 year old Abraham) couldn't stop, but we won't know if Johnson is a good world level fighter until he fights Beterbiev.

I think Beterbiev will win this, he has the better amateur pedigree, and although he has had less fights, and Johnson has fought Buglioni and Shihepo, Beterbiev has still fought the better opponents overall. Both these guys are punchers, but I think Beterbiev is the bigger puncher, although Johnson does have 6 first round KOs, and if it goes past 9, then it might go in Beterbiev's favour because Johnson has never been into round 10.

I think this will be a good fight, Johnson will be competitive, take the fight to the champion, but I think Beterbiev will win a UD, and wide as well, by at least 4 points, maybe even 10-2.

If Beterbiev and Bivol keep winning, even win another belt if either beat Stevenson or Alvarez, then that would be a great all Russian unification fight, I think Beterbiev and Bivol are the top 2 at 175, but Alvarez just got a great win over Kovalev, and Stevenson might be 40, might have a bad reputation for avoiding other champions, but he did proved a lot against Jack, managed to keep his belt, so all the champions are good fighters, would be great to see a unification fight.

Callum Johnson gonna shock a lot of boxing fans imo.

Great fight, both could hurt each other, Johnson was the aggressor, Beterbiev did the cleaner work, but both inflicted damage. That was brilliant from Beterbiev, he proved his adaptability, was pushed back, was dropped, hurt, but was composed, used his feet, used his straight shots, used his amateur pedigree, was patient, and when Johnson came in, when Johnson was aggressive, encouraged by his own ability to hurt his opponent, he got hit with 2 clean right hands, well timed, and with power, he tried to get up, Johnson, but he didn't quite make it, he was badly hurt.

I think Beterbiev is the best at 175, I think the Bivol fight would be brilliant, especially for Russian boxing, but both are based in America, so that could be a well prompted fight, and a fight which is all Eastern European as well. Beterbiev and Bivol are the top 2 at 175 in my opinion, both world champions, it would be a 50/50 fight, the best fight that can happen at 175, two good amateurs, two unbeaten professionals, two punchers, would be a great fight.

Johnson is not young, but he is not old, this was his first loss, and he can come again, he proved he can compete, mix it at this level, maybe if he has more experience, fought a fighter who wasn't quite as good as Beterbiev, it could have been his night, but it wasn't to be, he tried his best, his dad would be proud, as he should be of himself, and because he did well, dropped Beterbiev, learned in this fight, he might well fight for a world title again, so it is not necessarily the end of the road for Johnson.

Damn the fight went just as I expected...all out war with Callum Johnson getting stopped in 4. Respect to the kid tho, Beterbiev is Vulnerable but has crazy power.
