Moore was lucky to make it out of the first.

Here's another huge terrible mistake lol. Do you just push save for the points or what, talk about the pot calling the kettle black lol.

Fistic brilliance on display, this had to be one of the fights of the year. Fantastic back and forth action, Durelle giving a great account of himself showing a cast-iron chin and a punch like the kick of a mule. To be sure the challenger dropped the champion 3 times in the first frame, however referee Sharkey ruled one of them a slip but make no mistake Moore was about out of there. The champion started finding his stride in the 4th session, but another serious right from Durelle puts a dazed Archie down again in the 5th. From that point on it was a thrilling battle with Moore getting the upper hand throughout. The champion scores his own knockdown in the 7th, and the 9th was by far the best frame of the contest, but was also telling because Archie was really starting to land hard and at will. The 10th round was all the champion, beating the challenger decisively having him stagger around the ring and scoring another knockdown very easy to debate a 10-7 round despite only being one knockdown. Durelle manages to make it out for the 11th, but after another couple knockdowns it is over and Archie Moore defends his Light-Heavyweight Championship of the World in hostile territory.
