Prediction,

I think Pedraza will win this, I think he is a level above Moran, but this could be a very good fight, Pedraza is not unbeatable, Davis tore through him and sparked him, Cherry and Smith gave him real problems, he was never a top level, dominant world champion, but he was a world champion, he was a good world champion, he is still under 30, not coming off a layoff (hasn't been as active as ideal though), and Moran, although he is the champion, Latino level is a different ballgame to world level, Moran has never been at world level, he has lost before at a low level, twice, but he is a young fighter with a title to defend, he has a good record, he can punch a bit.

I think Pedraza wins by wide UD, maybe at least 93-97, probably wider.

Anyone got Charlo vs Trout and Santa Cruz vs Mares in good quality ? Cant find an HD version anywhere

rds 1,3,10 swing to the degree of 10-10ish for me
rd 6 competitive

rd 3 in a competitive rd Pedraza seemed to be in control mostly executing the principles the of the sweet science to perfection in his own way and getting the better of most exchanges but still getting clipped with enough hard shots by Moran to keep it a relatively competitive rd when a left hook followed by 2 real flush rights in the last 10 secs may have been enough to steal that 3rd stanza for Moran...where Pedraza can't find any offensive success of his own in those secs to steal it back imo

rd 6 what I like to call form over function rd for Pedraza like Taylor Linadartou rd 3 or Santa Cruz vs Mares rd 4 in that in a real competitive rd Pedraza seemed to be winning large portions of it and do so fighting his fight and winning the ring generalship battle by a long shot it ain't even funny or as most commentators would say "story of the fight" while their attention span is affected by their job in keeping the broadcast audience informed and or entertained
but paying closer attention to most of the exchanges within that rd Moran landed more of the cleaner punches at least from my view point in most of the exchanges and put an exclamation to it in the dying secs landing couple shots with sandwiched in between was a real good nice body shot by Pedraza which Moran follows up with an overhand right...that 6th rd in microcosm for me
