Prediction,

Angel Acosta is very good, I saw him against Juan Alejo on the undercard of Cotto vs Ali, big puncher, good boxer as well, broke down his opponent. Acosta is 27, world champion, so I think now, it would be good for him to make a name for himself. Acosta lost to Kosei Tanaka, but apart from that, he has won all his fights, 17 wins, all of them by KO, and I think the Tanaka loss might be more just good experience than anything else. It is always hard for fighters at 105-115 to get the fans' support, which is a shame, but I think people are gradually watching more small guys fight.

Buitrago is a decent fighter, but he has only ever lost to undefeated IBF and WBA strawweight world champions, Thammanoon Niyomtrong and Hiroto Kyoguchi, he made the first Niyomtrong fight close. Buitrago has never been a world champion, but he did draw against Merlito Sabillo for the WBO strawweight world title in 2013.

Acosta must be the favourite, he is the champion, he is much more experienced at 108, he has less losses, it shouldn't be easy, because Buitrago has experience, he is a young fighter, but I think Acosta will win. Hard to say whether or not Buitrago will break Acosta's knockout string, and be the first to take him the distance but lose.

My prediction is Acosta by late stoppage.
