Prediction,

I saw Andy Vences fight earlier this year, at the StubHub I think, it was in March, on the undercard of Valdez vs Quigg. Vences fought in a really interesting battle of the unbeatens, against Erick De Leon, in an absolute 50/50 fight, it was very negative, but interesting to watch, and in the end, the fight was anybody's, and it was a draw.
Vences is 27, 20-0, so at that point when he is going to be stepping up, whether he has what it takes to win a world title, or whether he will win at a level below, we don't know, his opposition hasn't been great, he hasn't competed at a high level really, but he is the WBC continental Americas champion, he did beat Casey Ramos. Definitely at International/Inter-Continental level, Vences is very good.

I've never seen Frank De Alba fight, he has a good record (22-3), but he has fought at a low level, had one 10 round fight, won the UBF all America title, in 8 round bouts, but overall, his level has been low, the only names on his record I'm familiar with, are German Meraz, Omar Douglas, and Tevin Farmer. Meraz has a similar amount of wins to losses, beating him isn't much of an achievement at this level, but to be fair, De Alba did shut him out. De Alba drew with Omar Douglas, who lost a split decision not so long ago, to Edner Cherry. De Alba fought Farmer in a 4 round bout, and drew with him, Farmer is highly rated at world level, so a draw against him 4 round fight or not, is good.

De Alba is at a 2-3 inch height disadvantage, and a 4 inch reach disadvantage, he is 3 years older as well, 30, for a 130lb fighter with 27 fights, not old, not young, he should be able to put up more or less the same effort as he could have done a year or two ago, but how much desire does he have?

I think Vences will win this, I think by UD, maybe 97-93/98-92
