What a brutal battle! The heart, the courage, the grit Nathan Cleverly showed in this fight, was just incredible, I don't think many believed he would win this fight, I certainly didn't, and Fonfara did the expected by getting the decisive victory, but it was a close one in my opinion, and one just gets that sense, that you can't really take anything negative from watching this fight, because it was a great win and a great performance from Andrzej Fonfara, but at the same time, you simply can't be disappointed in Cleverly, he was simply beaten by the all round better boxer, he made very few mistakes if any at all, I didn't see him put a foot wrong, the guts he showed, just how extremely motivated he was from first bell to last, it was all very admirable from the Welshman, and it just showed you the courage some fighters relish showing on the ring, and I got the impression he was one proud, happy man after this brave, brave performance, he fought his heart out, he left no stone unturned, if he was going to possibly beat an on form Fonfara, he would have done it, if any warrior in the sport of boxing gives a fight their all, then they should have no regrets whatsoever.
