Prediction,

I like Ricky Summers, nice guy, tough fighter, been through the mill, had a tough life. Against Buglioni, Summers lost, after about 3 rounds, he looked very overmatched, but he proved he belongs at British level, as he came on strong, didn't win, but made it a good fight. Sterling is 9-0, after 8 fights, he had fought nobody, none of his opponents had winning records, he stepped up in his last fight, fought Kirk Garvey (11-1), for the southern area title, won, it was close, but he won, went 10 rounds.

Both these guys have no pedigree at all outside of one fight for each, on the one hand, Buglioni is probably a level above Garvey, Summers fought at British level, Sterling only fought at southern area level, on the other hand, he won against Garvey, and Summers did lose a UD to Buglioni, competitive, semi-close, but a UD.

Neither fighter seem to have any real amateur background, so both are inexperienced, but Summers is the more experienced fighter, with 16 fights, almost double the fights Sterling uas had, and although he has no good wins even at county or area level, his opposition might have been slightly better than Sterling's.

Sterling is unbeaten, might be a good British level fighter who just needs experience, had none really when he fought Garvey, but he was pushed close by Garvey of course, and also Adam Jones (7-31-6), only won by 1 point, Summers has not won on points by a narrower margin than 3 points, so Summers is the more dominant fighter at non-title level.

Summers definitely has a good chance, I hope he wins, but it is a 50/50 fight. I think Summers might edge this by MD, get a shot at the British title. It is a tough fight to call, I would not be surprised if Sterling won, and these 2 are very well matched, I definitely think it will be a close one.

Great performance from Sterling, he was hurt bad there in round 2, was down heavily, his legs were gone, but he recovered, came back well, and got the win. I think Sterling is more than good enough to win a British title.
