Champion97's picture

What a shame for poor old Alfredo, he should still go home a proud man because he is a legend and he boxed brilliantly in the last 2 rounds, who knows what would have happened if this had been a 12 round contest? I don't see any real reason this has to be the end, Angulo could come back, I don't see why not. Angulo is the kind of fighter who is hard as nails and has won so many fights because he can take what his opponent has to offer and dish out better, he has never shown any interest in being a defensively strong fighter and when he comes up against a boxer who is good at controlling the fight tempo (making it a technical chess match), and he is unable to have war, this is when he has problems, but in the late rounds, when his opponent tires, this is when he comes on strong, this is why he got so much stronger and more successful in the late rounds. I would like to see Angulo fight Delvin Rodriguez, a winnable fight against a good, solid opponent.

Afternoon Champion, Alfredo Angulo's problems are his eyes and his stamina. He swells up very very easy and it causes him problems and his stamina is weak towards the end. This was in September and he fought Delray Raines in June which he won by TKO in round 5 but he is a very good fighter
